Profile verification is a multi-step process designed to ensure all members are real people:

1. Photo Verification: Upload a clear, recent photo of yourself. Our team manually reviews photos to confirm they meet our guidelines.
2. Email Verification: Confirm your email address through the link we send.
3. Optional Additional Verification: For enhanced trust, you can complete phone verification or connect social media accounts.

Verified profiles receive a blue checkmark badge and are shown preference in search results.

To edit your profile:

• Go to your profile page by clicking your profile picture in the top right corner
• Click "Edit Profile"
• Make your changes and click "Save"

To delete your account:

• Go to Settings > Account
• Click "Delete Account" at the bottom
• Confirm your choice (this action is permanent and cannot be undone)

While we require verified profiles to ensure community safety, we offer several privacy features:

• Blurred Photos: You can choose to blur your profile photo until you match with someone.
• Location Settings: Control how precise your location appears to others.
• Profile Visibility: Choose who can see your profile (everyone, only verified users, only your matches).
• Incognito Mode: Premium feature that lets you browse profiles without appearing in their "who viewed me" list.

Our matching algorithm considers several factors to show you the most compatible people:

• Location: People closer to you appear first
• Interests: Based on your profile information and activity
• Activity Level: We prioritize active users who are online regularly
• Verification Status: Verified profiles receive higher visibility
• Behavior: Your swiping patterns help refine suggestions over time

You can also use advanced filters to narrow results by age, distance, interests, and more.

To ensure respectful communication, we have these guidelines:

• Be respectful and courteous to all members
• No harassment, bullying, or hate speech
• No unsolicited explicit content
• No spam, advertising, or solicitation
• No sharing of personal contact information before establishing trust

Violations may result in warnings, message restrictions, or account suspension. You can report inappropriate messages by clicking the flag icon.

If you need to unmatch or block someone:

1. Go to your chat conversation with that person
2. Click the three dots in the top right corner
3. Select "Unmatch" or "Block"
4. Confirm your choice

When you unmatch someone, the conversation will disappear from both sides. When you block someone, they won't be able to see your profile or contact you.
